  • Martin: I appreciate my Internet department. Internet salespeople can easily be micro managed. It takes a unique human being to keep his/her attitude right and be strong enough to prosper in the long term. I disagree with you, however, when you write that there is no longer any customer loyalty. No customer loyalty means we and our products are truly commodities. If a customer goes with another salesman at my store or at another dealership, I know I failed in some way to retain him. And, I fail all the time. On the other hand, I have customers that will only work with me. My first sales job was in 1984. The old timers at that company were saying that customer loyalty was long gone. Don't believe it, brother. It's harder to achieve, but it's still alive and well. Thanks, David Bradley
