  • Great stuff Sean! We have been preaching this to dealers since Google talks so much about these 73% of cross shoppers.

    The other thing that is critical to understand is that in addition to capturing competitor's business, being visible on natural search helps dealers KEEP their customers because 73% of their customers are cross shopping too and when they cross shop, if the dealer has a great strategy for being visible on page 1, their customers will see them explaining why that Honda Accord is better than the Toyota Camry and it may help their current customer stop for a moment and think: "Yeah, we do love our Honda, let's not wasted time going to the Toyota Dealer."
