5 Types Of Videos Car Pros Need On The Web

The right kind of online videos can be like a army of car pros going out to work for you day in and day out 24/7.

Notice I did say the "right kind" of video? Thats because there is no shortage of the wrong kind or same kind of videos out there on the net.

The right kind of videos as well as the right amount give todays car pro’s the opportunity to engage, build relationships, build rapport, build authority and trust. Now isn’t that what a “sale” is made of?

Exactly.

In this post I am going to review "The 5 Types Of Videos Car Pros Need On The Web" and also give you some ideas on videos for each type.

Check it out.

1. Testimonial Videos-

Video testimonials create a feeling of authenticity that you just do not get with a written testimonial.

The fact that a video testimonial is "harder to fake" gives it more credibility and makes it much more powerful to prospected car shoppers.

Don't get it twisted, using written testimonials is not entirely a waste of time, it is just nothing that any other car sales professional isn't already doing.

Video testimonials on the other hand are not being used by enough car pros and auto dealers. With the higher success rate on a video testimonial and the simple fact that most auto professionals are not using them, kinda makes it a no brainer.

Try gathering a few of the best customer testimonial video clips you have and edit them together in a kinda "compilation". Will work like a charm.

One of the biggest mistakes I see in most automotive testimonial videos and one mistake in my early years I was guilty of myself is not adding a compelling call to action (CTA) to your video.

No matter what kind of video you are creating, or even the exact objective of the video always include your unique and creative CTA. Never leave your viewer hanging without directing them on what to do next.

2. Product Review Videos-

This one is nothing new and you are probably doing some vehicle video reviews for you or your dealership currently, so chances are you aren't the only one doing these videos in your marketplace.

So it is important to make your "Product Review Videos" count.

Most vehicle video reviews I see are titled "2015 Hyundai Sonata - Review- Hagerstown MD" or some extent of that.

The video itself most cases gives a general outline and tour of the vehicle and of course reminding the viewer to come on down and buy it.

Sound familiar?

That is exactly why you need to make your vehicle video reviews stand out and deliver quality information.

Give this a quick try.

Plan out your videos better and focus on covering only a few unique and exciting features. You know, the hot spots.

" The Top 3 New Features Of The 2015 Hyundai Sonata". I am sure you can get a vision of what that video would like.

I give you one more that if you use specific titles like this and of course provide the information it will make a bigger impact: " 3 Reasons Why The 2015 Hyundai Sonata Is The Best Choice For A Small Family".

Make your "Product Review Videos" to the point, with great information, and tell them in the title exactly what they will learn or gain from the video.

Don't forget your compelling "CTA" at the end, and so you know "call me at 555-555-5555" or "stop down and ask for me" does not qualify as compelling.

3. Comparison Videos-

These videos did amazing for me.

Line up your most popular searched make and models with its biggest competitor  and demonstrate why your vehicle is the one for them.

Make these videos easier by planning them out and focusing in on 3 key reasons why your make and model is the right choice for them.

"The Top 3 Reasons Why The 2015 Hyundai Sonata Is Better Than The Toyota Camry".

It is as easy as that.

Producing comparison videos for all your vehicle makes and models or at the least the ones that are searched the most is never going to be a bad move. Just don't forget one thing…

Your Killer "CTA".

4. FAQ Videos -

Like it or not  buying a car is still a complicated process that the majority of people only do every 3 to 5 years. Maybe even more.

So not only is buying a new car a complicated process, it is also not something the majority of people do that often.

That means the consumer will have many Frequently Asked Questions.

Think about when you are engaging with a customer in the showroom, on a phone call or even through email…Now think about all the questions they have and from there focus on the FAQ's.

You better believe if people are asking you in person, through email, or on a call, that people are typing the same questions into Google.

That opens up huge opportunity for you to engage and service people while they research online, which gets the relationship underway no matter what stage of the almighty "funnel" they are in if in it at all.

"FAQ Videos" can be product related "Whats the safety rating of the 2015 Chevy Impala"? They can be service related "What should I do when my check engine light goes on"? They could be process related "How can I save time when shopping for my next car"?

That is just a taste of the endless "FAQ Videos" you can start churning out no sweat. Get creative and get specific.

Tips & Info Of Value Videos-

I know what your saying, what is the difference between "Tips & Info" and "FAQ Videos"?

Well, little.

Think of these as a combination of "the questions the consumer should be asking" and "any information that would be of value to their car shopping needs and or ownership".

Think along the lines of "the best roads to drive

You could also map out and let everyone know in your market the roads locally that are all tore up and hazardous to your vehicle. Get where I am going?

Be a resource and service your audience with something of value that you have an abundance of…

Information.

You Already Know The Information Needed

If you take the time initially to plan out your videos there is no Car Sales Pro that couldn't produce the information needed to create any of these "5 Video Types".

Once you get on a roll and start to have a "mini catalog" of your value packed, quality videos on the web, you start building rapport, credibility, trust and relationships (which equals sale) 24 hours a day 7 days week no matter what your doing and where.

Put these "5 Types Of Videos" to work for you so you can sell more cars. If you are already using some or even all of them…
